Winemaking is a very old tradition in the region of the soft hills of the Vienna woods that was already famous in the ancient days of the Romans.

Already around 1787 our ancestors knew how to benefit from favourable climatic conditions and from then on wine-growing has become a lifelong task and passion for them.

Nowadays we try to combine centuries-old tradition with state-of-the-art techniques to gain the highest possible quality, and we take advantage of a climate with a lot of sunshine that enables us to press marvellous wines popular at many friends and guests from near and far.

Grapes are grown with compassion and in harmony with nature. During the year we work carefully in the vineyards and in autumn high-quality grapes are our reward.

Vinification is also a very ambitious part of our work. Here, we try here to preserve and to emphasise the typical characters of the numerous sorts of wine and rely on quality rather than quantity, in order to produce high quality wines that are famous for their typical bouquet, light and harmonious flavour.

The ideal place to do so is our old cellar of the castle of Bad Voeslau- once owned by the Counts of Bad Voeslau. There our wine of high quality mature in wooden barrels.

Every year our steady strive for better quality is rewarded with numerous medals and honours at national and international wine-fairs.
